Nerd Nite (For The Win)
July 12th, 2009
It was this May when I went to Nerd Nite for the first time -- to see a presentation about Teledildonics (and may I just add -- that presentation rocked pretty damn hard)
So, for whatever drug-induced reason -- I later emailed Matt (the main organizer of NYC’s Nerd Nite) and asked to do a presentation on Korean Pop Music.
He said yes.
Ready…Camera…
The presentation was officially bequeathed with the title:
“From Seo Taji to Wonder Girls: Video Intro to Korean Pop Music (and why even Perez Hilton is a Fan)”
And then I fucking procrastinated, was attacked by ugly things, and freaked out (I have deep fear of public speaking).
…ACTION!
But July 10, 9pm -- I gave that presentation (along with other awesome presentations about the harp and Godzilla). And I didn’t puke all over the mic.
For your viewing pleasure is the video recording of my presentation.
P.S. I added annotations (ghetto-ass closed captioning) on the videos because the sound quality kinda sucks.
If you want to see the annotations, I’ll put the links below directly to Youtube. But I’m late for a party so it gets progressively sloppy. Oh well.
Oh well.
